Washington State Library's collection of books about quilts designed and created by Staff and Friends, 1997-2001.

Some members of the Washington State Library staff designed and created a baby quilt for both Emily and Dylan Locke, children of the former Governor of Washington State. Both children were born during the Governor's terms in office. This collection contains copies of the booklets that were made to accompany the presentations of the individual quilts. The collection contains an 11 x 14 in. color photograph of Emily's Quilt. Each booklet shows a color picture of each quilt square with a description of the square, how it was made and who made it. The booklets also contain short biographies of the individuals that contributed to the quilts.
